GEHR PEEK-30CF®

The material PEEK-30CF is a variant of PEEK modified with 30 % carbon fibres. As with the glass-fibre reinforced type, the surface hardness and heat deflection temperature are also significantly increased compared to the already high values of the unreinforced standard type. This material owes its significantly increased dimensional stability to its extremely low coefficient of linear expansion. The electrical properties are influenced by the high proportion of carbon fibres and must be taken into account in the relevant applications.
