PE-ELS
GEHR PE-ELS®
This polymer is a variant of PE-HS with improved electrical conductivity. By means of a special conductive carbon black, the volume resistance could be reduced to ≤104 Ω and the surface resistance to ≤105 Ω.

- High toughness (also at low temperature)

- Very good electrical and dielectric properties
- Very low water absorption
- Low steam permeability
- High chemical resistance
- Good protection against stress cracking
- Food safe
- Soft surface (low tensile strength)
- HF welding not recommended
Custom extrusion on request
Round rods in other sizes can be produced
