GEHR semi-finished products with the additional title ELS possess a reduced surface resistivity. This property will be applied wherever static charge of plastic components needs to be avoided. In sensitive applications such as electronics voltages of over 100 volts are already sufficient to irreparably destroy circuits. In fire-hazardous facilities sparkovers may cause fires or even explosions.
