Whereas even into the 1950s the use of metal casings was customary in the cosmetics industry, nowadays plastics are indispensable as a packaging material for beauty products. Thermoplastics are especially well suited for this purpose, by reason of their high transparency, toughness, rigidity and easy processability. For the cosmetics industry, we extrude easily taperable tubes – and this with ultra-tight tolerances, a wide choice of different colors, and extensive machining options.
