Together with the Technical University of Munich and Evonik, we are ensuring that the Hyperloop project moves into the next phase.

Environmental protection and the careful use of our resources are important to us, which is why we have been sourcing all of our electricity from renewable energy sources since 2016 and are continuously working on energy-efficient measures. Now we are going one step further and are pleased that we can set up a photovoltaic system on our factory buildings.

6th GEHR Symposium and employee party as a birthday party

As part of an expert symposium and a staff party, we celebrated the 90th GEHR company anniversary. On our factory premises in Mannheim, around 200 guests from 5 continents discussed important industry-specific topics as well as current economic and political issues with top-class speakers.

PROTECT-FIL-A-GEHR PPSU

Development of an additive with an antibacterial agent

As part of a ZIM (Central innovation program for medium-sized companies) project, we succeeded in developing an antibacterial additive for semi-finished products. This material was compounded with PPSU and then extruded into filaments.

We now have black GEHR POM calendered sheets in 1 mm thickness in stock. We have the sheets both wrapped and unwrapped in stock.

Carbon Reinforced Filament

With FIL-A-GEHR PA 12-CF15 we have a 15 percent carbon fiber reinforced filament that achieves very high mechanical strength with low water absorption.
