PMMA XT (ACRYL)
GEHR PMMA XT®(ACRYL)
Due to its thermal and mechanical properties, this amorphous material belongs to the polymer group of standard plastics. In addition to its high mechanical strength and rigidity, it certainly has an extraordinarily brilliant transparency. Its weather and UV resistance as well as its surface hardness are also very high.
PMMA is also scratch-resistant and polishable. The continuous operating temperature ranges between -40 °C and +70 °C. The chemical resistance to most solvents, the resistance to stress cracking as well as the toughness is clearly subordinate compared to other materials from the group of standard polymers.
