GEHR PSU®
This amber-coloured, transparent material belongs to the group of amorphous high-performance plastics. Polysulfone has a good heat deflection temperature and heat ageing resistance (-100 °C to +160 °C). In addition, this material has a high hardness and strength, very good hydrolytic stability and high radiation resistance (permeable to microwaves up to 2.45 GHz). PSU also has high dimensional stability and resistance to β- and γ-, X-rays and infrared rays. However, PSU is not UV stable and notch sensitive.
