GEHR PA12 GF sheets for Hyperloop

As part of a research program to develop a high-speed transport for passengers, we produced GEHR PA12 GF sheets for a test route.

The material consists of VESTAMID®, a PA12 material filled with glass fiber and a special additive. The sheets, which are further processed after extrusion in Mannheim, lie in the floor of the route to hold the magnetic coils for the train in position.
The test track is currently 24 meters long and was built by the Technical University of Munich, near Munich.

In the presence of the Bavarian Prime Minister Dr. Markus Söder, MdL and the Bavarian State Minister for Science and Art Markus Blume, MdL, the Hyperloop and the results of the program were presented to the general public at the end of July. We are pleased that we can be part of this project.
